The Mission: Promote education and understanding of self and society with quality, disruptive, and engaging content that is pulled from creative sources and shared within our community.

Learning is a lifelong process that is simultaneously biological and cultural. Each of us learn within complex developmental, cognitive, physical, social, and cultural systems; changing the brain throughout your lifespan. At the same time, the brain develops in ways that impact learning and are in turn shaped by the learner’s context and cultural influences.

Traditional schooling is something that is given to you.

WHEN did staycurious.org start?

staycurious.org was born on August 23, 2012.

The Articles of Incorporation were filed with the Secretary of State of the State of California on September 3, 2013 and officially incorporated as a Benefit Corporation on September 18, 2013.

WHY a Benefit Corporation?

A Benefit Corporation differs from a traditional corporation in that it focuses on the triple bottom line: people, planet, and profit.

PURPOSE | Benefit corporations commit to creating public benefit and sustainable value in addition to generating profit. This sustainability is an integral part of their value proposition.

ACCOUNTABILITY | Benefit corporations are committed to considering the company’s impact on society and the environment in order to create long-term sustainable value for all stakeholders.

TRANSPARENCY | In most regions, benefit corporations are required to report, in most states annually and using a third party standard, to show their progress towards achieving social and environmental impact to their shareholders and in most cases the wider public.
